Climbing the Torrecilla - Sierra de las Nieves

A challenging but also one of the most beautiful mountain tours in the region to the highest peak of the new national park "Sierra de las Nieves"

The Torrecilla offers an incredible variety of vegetation and spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada to Cadiz, on the coast of Málaga, Cádiz and Africa.

The hike begins at almost 1,300 m in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park. Climbing up through a Pinsapo forest, over a plateau with gnarled old oak trees and stunning views, and finally high up to the mountain peak at 1.919m altitude. It is the highest mountain in the province of Malaga. An absolutely amazing tour!
