There is a chance we might do some kilome teres more\, there might be parts we cannot do\, or unexpected obstacules. But you still have a guide\, transport\, insurrance and most likely a gre at time\, but you need to be sure footed\, quite fit\, and have a bit of a n adventure spirit.\nFor more information contact: johanna@sur-walks.com\n EXPLORER TOURS ARE ALWAYS SPECIFIED AS SUCH AND ALL OTHER TOURS ARE WELL K NOW TOURS\nThis time we will do a quite demanding route from Istán to the SIerra Blanca:\nISTÁN - BARRANCO DEL RÍO MOLINOS - CERRO DE LA FULANEJA\nI ntense and very mountainous route around Istán. I strongly recommend weari ng long trousers. On the circular route\, we first walk on the right side in search of the gorge. Along the gorge we find all kinds of markings that help us find the most comfortable way.\nWe approach the mountain range we want to climb. At the beginning the brush is high\, tearing and makes it difficult to get through\, but with patience it gradually disappears the h igher we get. You always have to watch where you put your feet because som etimes you step on the undergrowth and can't see the ground anymore. I als o recommend taking sticks of any kind.\nThe difficult terrain soon comes t o an end and we walk over stonier and more comfortable terrain to the summ it. Once at the top\, the view is excellent and we begin a hike along or n ear the rope until we reach a summit in the distance.\nJust a few metres a bove the summit we have a good view of Istán and its surroundings. Now the descent begins. There are a few small spots in the undergrowth\, but they are rarely seen. Most of the descent is hardly complicated.\nWe reach a p ath. This leads to a path and this in turn leads to a tarmac road that tak es us to the source of the river Molinos\, where we enjoy fresh\, pure wat er. A few metres further on\, the path ends where it began.\nDifficulty\n& nbsp\;high - 11\,5km - 5 hours \;\nDifferences in altitude\n11.55 km\, ↑↓947 m\nEssential to bring\nGood walking shoes\, long trousers!
