 A hike in the heart of the natural park 'Los Alcornocales'\, full of histo
 ry\, deepest forests and wonderful views. From the village of 'La Sauceda'
  to the highest peak in the park\nIf the giant cork oaks that hide the aba
 ndoned village of La Sauceda under their shadow could speak\, their sad st
 ories would be a very great contrast to the unique beauty of the surroundi
 ngs. The village was bombed in the civil war and almost completely destroy
 ed. The ruins of hundreds of houses and their church are still there\, par
 tly restored and adapted for rural tourism\, but for the moment they are a
 bandoned. Nature has taken over the place and what remains of the village 
 could be the backdrop for a film called 'The Enchanted Forest'.\nFrom La S
 auceda we hike to the highest peak of the natural park 'El Aljibe' with a 
 breathtaking view and an anthropomorphic grave with an not very believable
  legend...\nWe return on another path that leads us past a small lagoon in
