 On this circular route through the Sierra de las Nieves we climb the Cerro
  de la Sardina\, with its wonderful views of Ronda\, explore the old corti
 jo de los Carboneros and the pools and waterfalls of the stream\nIn the Si
 erra de las Nieves\, the new national park of Andalusia\, there are many a
 bandoned farms\, the hard life in the mountains and the loneliness of the 
 farms without roads and infrastructure are a thing of the past. Many legen
 ds and ruins of times gone by have been left behind. We start our route fr
 om the entrance of the park to the pass and the Cerro de la Sardina\, with
  a fantastic view of the city of Ronda. The ruins of the Cortijo de las Ca
 rboneras\, where the charcoal burners worked and lived in former times\, a
 re located on the banks of the stream of the same name. We follow the cour
