 A beautiful walking route that takes us from the southern edge of the city
  of Ronda to the famous 'Abanico' cave and gorge\, via roads\, dirt tracks
  and mountain paths\n&nbsp\;\nOur route runs along roads\, paths\, trails 
 and streams and passes farms. The vegetation consists mainly of holm oaks\
 , olive trees and gorse.\nFinally\, we reach the beginning of the beautifu
 l gorge 'Tajo del Abanico' and its famous cave. Legend has it that this is
  where the Roman army was defeated in an ambush by the leader of the resis
 tance.It is a circular route on which we pass the ancient well 'El Pilar d
 e Cartajima'. Once back in Ronda\, we can have a drink in a bar in the San
