On this hike we explore the most pristine part of the Sierra de las Nieves, which was recently declared a National Park. It is a challenging hike that takes two full days, but offers beautiful and varied scenery. We also hike through the Pinsapo fir forest, for which this park is famous.
Our trails run along easy forest roads, meadow paths, up to stony mountain paths, but without climbing passages and precipices. We stay in a hostel (bunk beds) in Yunquera, so we don't need to bring much, bed linen and towels are provided, no large wardrobe required.
On this day we explore new trails, the level of difficulty is due to the fact that some sections are new to me and lead over trails that are not very frequently walked.
