We start our route in El Colmenar de Gaucín to climb a steep slope towards Puerto del Oso, and go down the other side to the Garganta de las Buitreras, a spectacular canyon where the Griffon Vultures nest. We can take a refreshing bath in a beautiful pool at the end of the gorge before returning to the village. The level of difficulty is determined by the steep initial section and a thorny section (long trousers!).
