Mountains, sea and the blossoms of the Andalusian Spring flowers,are waiting for you on these fantastically beautiful hikes. The famous white villages invite you to rest and have some "tapas". Moorish castles, Roman bridges and prehistoric caves, tell the traveler of the history of the region, which was influenced by many cultures passing through.

(Duration 7 Days)

Day 1, Saturday:  Arrival in Malaga

Transfer zum Hotel. Begrüssungscocktail und Abendessen 

Day 2, Sunday:  Ronda: City-visit and Mill Valley hike and wine bodega visit. 

The walk starts at the impressive mountain town of Ronda, with its Arab baths, the magnificent palaces and the impressive bridge over the Tajo gorge that runs through the middle of town. We walk down to the valley of the mills and through vineyards and pine woods back up to a 500 year old monastery that now serves as a wine bodega, and where we will taste the delicious wines of the region. (Walking time approx. 3 hours 7.5 km)



jimenaDay 3, Monday: Jimena de la Frontera - Cicular Route through the Cork Forest

The hike through the Cork Forest Nature Reserve begins in the village of Jimena de la Frontera. From the Moorish castle that towers above the town, down the valley of the River Hozcarganta. A bizarre landscape of rocks, old trees, natural pool in the river, are suitable for bathing, and back to the village. The serenity of village life and the delicious tapas dishes around, make the conclusion to a wonderful side trip into the cork forest. (Walking time about 4 hours, 12 km)

AlhambraDay 4, Tuesday: trip to Granada and the Alhambra

With Granada, everyone agrees, a city you simply must see! The gorgeous location at the foot of the snow-covered Sierra Nevada, the incomparable beauty of the Moorish Alhambra Palace and the vibrant neighborhood of Albaicín and Sacromonte, will remain in your memory. Sightseeing and Alhambra. A day Tour by bus.


Day 5 Wednesday: Rest day

After all these overwhelming impressions of the last days, we enjoy a day of rest, right on the beautiful beach outside the hotel, or perhaps a walk on the beach boulevard, or through the narrow streets of the old town.

tarifaDay 6, Thursday: Tarifa, the Atlantic - Mountains and Sea

From the migrating dune of Tarifa, up into the mountains over the Strait of Gibraltar. Our path leads through a quaint, tiny village, with anthropomorphic tombs in the rock between houses and cattle pasturing. A magnificent view of the Roman archaeological cities of Bologna, on two oceans and two continents, the Rock of Gibraltar and the last foothills of the Moroccan Riffgebirges. (walking time is about 4 - 5 hours, 12 km)

genalguacilDay 7, Friday: Genalguacil - the artists' village in the mountains

A beautiful hike through chestnut woods, with great views to the coast, the surrounding mountain villages and the mountain ranges of Grazalema and the Sierra de las Nieves. The village itself is like an open-air art museum, since 20 years every second year an international artists' meeting takes place, the artworks remain the place as a cultural asset. (Walking time about 3 hours, 9 km)

Day 8 Saturday: return journey

Transfer to Malaga airport.
