Even the trip to Grazalema is varied and beautiful. The pretty and well-kept village with its narrow streets, stone portals and tiled roofs, charming squares with many restaurants, is located just over 800 meters above sea level, surrounded by the steep rocks of the Sierra. On weekends and in high season there is much more life here than in any other mountain village, on weekdays and at night it becomes quieter.
After arrival and a coffee in the town square, we start our route through the Pinsapo fir forest in the nature reserve, which takes us to the tiny village of Benamahoma. A very beautiful route that leads slowly downhill after a first short climb. Apart from the huge specimens of Spanish Fir, a botanical rarity, we also passed through oak forests and rugged rocky mountains with a fantastic view. In the town square of Benamahoma we can have some tapas before returning to Grazalema with the SURwalks car. We have time to explore the village and to dine together in a restaurant with local specialties. We will spend the night in a hotel in the city center.

We make well use of the day and go straight after breakfast. Today our path takes us along stony paths to a typical landscape of the Sierra de Grazalema, with the strangest rock formations. From Puerto del Boyar to the source of the Guadalete river, going up to the mountains with wonderful views of peaks, villages, reservoirs and wide valleys. A few detours on our route, such as towards the "Gothic Arch" and the "Coargazal Tunnel", make this route even more varied and exciting than it already is.
After a short break in the town square, we return to the coast.
