Climbing "La Concha" the landmark of Marbella
A demanding mountain tour to the highest peak of the Sierra Blanca, famous for the wonderful view over Marbella and the impressive steep slopes on both sides of the path
We start our route at the Refugio de Juanar, with a gentle walk through a pine forest and olive grove, but soon a strong and continuous ascent begins. The effort is rewarded by simply spectacular views, we get a view over Marbella and the Costa del Sol, to Gibraltar and even the coast of Africa on clear days. The last part of the way to reach the summit follows a ridge, is wide enough to walk safely, but it is not a suitable route for people suffering from vertigo.
