Climbing "La Concha" the landmark of Marbella

A demanding Mountain Tour to the Highest Peak of the Sierra Blanca, famous for its breathtaking views over Marbella and the dramatic, steep slopes on either side of the trail.
We begin our route at the Refugio de Juanar, starting with a gentle walk through a pine forest and olive grove. However, the path soon turns into a steep and continuous ascent. The effort is well worth it — the panoramic views are simply spectacular. On clear days, you can see Marbella and the Costa del Sol, the Rock of Gibraltar, and even the coast of Africa.
The final stretch to the summit follows a ridge. It is wide enough to walk safely, but not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo.
