Hiking tour and short train ride along the Guadiaro River, through farm land and ruins, crossing the spectacular Vulture Gorge over a bridge, over the mountain pass where they nest and a swimm in the river

Our route starts at Gaucin train station, with a short 10 minute train ride to the Cañada del Real Tesoro. From there we walk through farmland, along farm tracks, easy to follow until we reach a sensational bridge over the Buitrera gorge. Here we have to go over a slightly steep pass, but with simply spectacular views. It is usually surrounded by Griffon Vultures. At the end of the gorge there is a beautiful natural pool, which invites for a cool bath, we go down there for a dip. From there we walk along a path along the Guadiaro River to the train station of Gaucín, where our SUR-walks van is waiting for us.
