Hiking tour through the Utrera Gorge and rocky mountains
The Sierra de Utrera is also known as "Torcalito", the little Torcal, it's origin and the shape of the rock formation is very similar to the famous Torcal of Antequera
We walk from the Roman baths of Manilva, a sulfur source in a pool buildt by the Romans, up through a canyon to the Utrera Rocks, an impressive rocky landscape that has emerged in the Jurassic and has evolved over millions of years of erosion, it's most amazing bizarre rock formations. The path through the gorge leads over rocks and stones, is not very difficult, but requires a good feeling of "off-road capability," it is not long, but it takes time, there is much to see and admire. A fascinating landscape.
After the walk we can have a dip in the sulfur water pool at the Roman baths and some tapas in Manilva
